RONALD GRANT "RON" BROTT

Ronald Grant Brott,
passed away on March 28, 2024,in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 77. He was born on February 7, 1947, in Petaluma, California.

Ron started his career with Petaluma movie theatres at age of 14, becoming manager by 16. He then started remodeling theatres throughout California and Oregon. He and Patricia Kay Nylander married in 1973, In 1976 the family moved to Astoria to renovate and opened the Columbian Theatres which they ran for 20 years. During the early 80s, they leased the Liberty Theatre for five years. In 2000, Ron and Patty opened and operated the Uppertown Laundromat for 10 years. For the past 5 years they have been living with their son and family in Eugene

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Patty, his son Patrick Brott, daughter-in-law Kendra, grandchildren Zoey, Aurora, Xzavya, Nevaeh, and Raider Brott. His daughter Kimberli Windecker of Montana, granddaughter Madison Cardoza and great grandchildren Jason, Sailor, Findley and Mars Cardoza. He is also survived by his sisters Camille Sereni, Dorothy Robinett, Barbara Anderson, brothers Bobby Brott, and Allen Duffy.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert Glenn Brott, parents Sherman Brott and Shirley Webber, sister Linda, and brothers Melvin and Thomas Brott.

Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His dedication to his work and his love for his family will always be remembered.
