Ronald Dickinson, 82, a retired textile supervisor, of Las Vegas, passed away March 31, 2012. He was born Aug. 25, 1929 in Williams, Mont., and was a resident of Nevada since 1978. He was preceded in death by his wife, June; his son, John Dickinson; his grandson, Stephen A. Dickinson; one brother; and three sisters. He is survived by his son, Stephen Dickinson; daughter, Ellen Dickinson; sons, James (Melinda) Dickinson, Dan Dickinson, and Dennis (Bonnie) Dickinson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Friday, April 6, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas

He was one of a kind, a dying bread, that instilled old school moral compass in our family which will lead it for years to come. As well as being know to have enough charisma to lighten up a room, bright as the Las Veags Strip……he tried to avoid. Thank you grandpa for everything you've taught us & being you!.

To the way he stirred a chocolate milk, the hearty laugh that filled a room, the dancing man who so loved his wife and family, Mr. D has been an inspiration and a treasured role model in my life, and always will be.
