Ronald Giordano Obituary
Middletown - Ronald "Ron" Samuel Giordano, age 81, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully at Brandywine Nursing Home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Ron was the son of the late Joseph and Raphael (Colicchio) Giordano. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Later, he became a pilot for Pan Am Airlines. A former ballroom dance instructor, he enjoyed dancing, old movies, music from the '60's and '70's disco and mountain trips to Eastern Pennsylvania.
Ron is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna Gail (Osmond) Giordano, a son, Erik Scott Gomez, both of Middletown and his sister, Margaret Wood (Ronald) of Wildwood, NJ.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 1st at 3 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 2 PM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to SPCA, 455 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713. Condolences may be made by visiting MealeyFuneralHomes.com
