Ronald Edward "Bones" Jordan NICKELSVILLE, Va. Ronald Edward "Bones" Jordan, 54, entered into rest Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at his residence. He was born on April 12, 1955, in Russell County, Va. Survivors include his two daughters, Jacqueline and Alicia Jordan, both of Nickelsville; his wife, Beth Jordan, Nickelsville; parents, Maynard and Esta Jordan, Nickelsville; sister, Connie Jordan, Nickelsville; two brothers, David Jordan, Nickelsville, Randy Jordan and wife Sherry, Pelzer, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Services will be at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, Va. Carson Lawson, Glenn Meade, Ralph White, Clifford Dean, Anthony Parks, and William Johnson will serve as pallbearers. Terry Smith, Daniel Smith, Sam Goins, Randy Jordan, David Jordan, Mody Keith and Maynard Jordan will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will meet at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
