Ronald McGovern Obituary
Kind and courageous, Ron showed tremendous strength and perseverance. Over forty years ago, a life changing auto accident, not his fault, forever changed the trajectory of his youth and promise. Facing daunting challenges, he carried on where most others would have given up. Ron was born in Oak Park Michigan and graduated from Birmingham Groves High School. For the majority of his adult life he called Texas home. He believed in God and knew he would go on to join his loved ones in life ever after. Remember Ron along with all the dear departed in your prayers. A private family gathering will be held. Memorial donations can be made to LeaderDog.org or your local animal charity.

Ron was so kind-hearted and brave. Even though he was well aware of how he and his life changed after the accident, he embraced what he and his life had become and did the most and best that he could. Love you Ron. Rest In Peace
