October 8, 1956 – February 18, 2018 Calgary, Alberta
Ron Rempe, beloved husband of Janice Rempe, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Ron was a professional Civil Engineer and entrepreneur; who was the president of his own company CALC Engineering Inc. Ron is survived by his loving wife Janice, twin daughters Alexandra and Stephanie; son Matthew, parents Irene and Gunter Rempe; brother Dennis (Marcia); sister Nicole (Glenn). Mother-in-law Betty Dick; father-in- law Peter Dick; sister-in-law Leslie (Dave); brother-in-law Brian (Josie). Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke's Catholic Church 1566 Northmount Drive N.W., on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Church. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta www.heartandstroke.ca or to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation www.childrenshospital.ab.ca.

I just met him one time in my life, when I was a kid. But I know his parents Irene and Günter. They are relatives to my father. Very warm hearted people. Such as Ronald when I remember the stories my father Wilfried told me.
I wish all of his family the best. My mother Irmgard and me will pray for you. God bless you.

So sorry to hear about the untimely passing of Ron. As a group of four young and wild university students, Ron, Heinz Lemmer, Juergen Schmidt and myself travelled through Europe on Interrail tickets. We all remember Ron's love of life, his humor and wits. My condolences to the family.

We lost a great man and long time friend.Ron was my first true friend when i first came to Canada in 1970 we became close in junior High than High school, we used to get together every world cup of soccer and it was a treat, last night when i found out could not believe what happened and that i will never have another chance in talking about our past .Such a mild soft spoken man with nothing but class all around R.I.P Ron my friend I will never forget how sincere your friendship was . We are very sadden to hear of the sudden passing of Ron who was married to my cousin Janice. We can only imagine the pain at loosing someone so early and our hearts and thoughts go out to the family and friends but especially to my cousin and her young kids who now have a huge hole in their family. We wish we could be there to support you during this time but hope you know our hearts are hurting for you. I hope your memories of Ron bring many smiles and laughs and that you realize the pain you will inevitably feel over time means he was a big part of your lives in such a positive way.
