Ronald “Ronnie” James Courville, 69, of Longville, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Longville, LA. Ronald, the son of Herbert Joseph and Irene Manuel Courville was born on November 05, 1951, in Kinder, LA.
Services for Ronnie will be on Monday, November 2, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Longville at 1:00 PM with Terry Shirley and Steve Courville officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of the service in the church. Care of the body has been entrusted to Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
Ronnie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longville. He worked and retired after 26 years for the Beauregard Parish School Board as a custodian.
His parents precede Ronnie in death.
Those left to cherish Ronnie’s memory is his wife of 43 years, Janice Hall Courville of Longville; sons, Chris Courville and wife Amy of Trussville, Alabama and Shane Courville and wife Leslie of Dumas, Texas; daughter, Pam Banerjee and husband Ashim of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Dale Courville and wife Cammie of Moss Bluff, Louisiana and Steve Courville and wife Karen of Kinder, Louisiana; sister, Pat Carrier and husband Oris of Oberlin, LA; grandchildren, Anjali Burton and husband David, Alexander Banerjee, Kelly Courville, Mitchell Parlier, MaKenzie Parlier, Mariah Parlier, Mason Parlier, Emilee Widener and husband Jon, Ashlee Courville, Anthony Courville, Ronnie Courville and Zaelee Jones; great-grandchild, Jaylee Widener.
