Ronald SCHELL Obituary
October 28, 1947 – August 12, 2016
It is with sadness and broken hearts that we announce Ron's peaceful passing on August 12, 2016 at St Paul's Hospital surrounded by his family. The celebration of Ron's life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Erindale Alliance Church, 310 Perehudoff Cres Saskatoon Sask S7N 4H1. Ron was predeceased by his father Bruce Schell (1989). He is survived by his mother, Ellen Schell of Saskatoon; Cecile Houle (fiancé) of Gravelbourg; Daughters Tanya Schell and Kim Schell of Saskatoon; Sisters; Carol (Jack) South of Saskatoon, Brenda (Dan) Johnson of Red Deer, AB, Bonnie Zelizney (Earl Flaman) of Saskatoon, Gaylene (Jody) McKewen of Florida, his special grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many special friends. Ron was born in Tisdale, SK and raised in Saskatoon. At a young age, Ron was active in many sports. He had a love for cars and worked on many with his "Bestest" friend, Howie. Ron had various jobs until he found his passion for operating a bobcat which lead to his Business of Bedrock Bobcatting Services for 30 plus years making numerous long life friends. He loved his home at Pike Lake lending a helping hand to many of his neighbors. Ron was the most gentle, giving and caring person and touched the lives of many. Memorial donations can be forwarded to Pike Lake Aquatic Harvester Co-op, RR7, Site 707, Box 22, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1N2 in loving memory of Ron. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be left at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME 306-244-5577.

Some time has past and I hope each day gets easier for you all. I will always remember Ron as a good neighbour and a kind and generous friend. It's just not the same without him in our neighbourhood. I hope special memories of Ron, hug your hearts forever. R.I.P. Ron!

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a great hockey player in his teenage years, when I knew him, and a caring friend which I appreciated very much. My condolences to the family.
