Ronald Turpin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 5, 2024.
Ronald Louis Turpin, 67, of Bel Air, MD passed away suddenly on November 30th, 2024. Born in Laval, Canada to Margaret and Joseph Turpin, Ron grew up with his brother Robert "Bob" and his best friend Louie. Ron loved cars from a young age and was able to name the make, model, and year of virtually any old car he came across. Ron later emigrated to the United States where he met and fell in love with Shelby Harris. The two married in Baltimore City, MD in 1989 and had two daughters Nicole and Elyse that they raised in Harford County, MD. Though they later separated, Ron expressed his love for Shelby until his untimely death. Ron spent a brief period employed in car sales. Ron always loved cruising the back roads on a sunny day listening to classic rock. Later in life, Ron's greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters Liliana and Kendra. Ron will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to his family. Ron leaves behind his daughters Nicole (Julio) Cruz and Elyse (Albert) Morin, his granddaughters Liliana and Kendra, brother Bob (June) Turpin, and ex-wife Shelby Turpin. Ron is preceded in death by his father Joseph, mother Margaret, and brother Donald. At the family's request, there will be no public service held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Harford Family House Shelter in Harford County, MD.
