Mr. Ronald Glenn West, age 58, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Pearson, Georgia. Born on March 17, 1967, in Titusville, Florida, Glenn lived a life marked by deep connections with family and friends and a love for the simple joys of life. Glenn was formerly an electrician.

Glenn was the beloved son of Ronald S. West of Pearson, Georgia, and the late Dutchie F. West. He shared a close bond with his siblings: sisters Rhonda Blanton (Carlton) of Cordele, Georgia, and Dell Cartledge (Lee) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and brother Mark West of Kingland, Georgia and his late brother Brad West.

Niece: Faith Cartledge of Gulf Breeze, Fl; Nephews: Simon Howard of Las Vegas, Nevada, Daniel Howard of Cordele, Ga,

Great Nephew: Ezra Howard of Las Vegas, Nevada,

and Jordan Cartledge of Gulf Breeze, Fl.

Nephews:

Glenn was engaged to Jayne P. Harper, with whom he shared a loving partnership. Through this union, he became a cherished part of an extended family that included stepsons William Harper of Lakeland, Georgia, and Derek Harper of Pearson, Georgia.

He also held a special place in the lives of his step-grandchildren: Devan Baker of Douglas; Savannah Harper and Samantha Harper of Willacoochee; Will Harper and Jason Harper of Lakeland; Makayla Baker; Liam Harper; and Adelynn Leavens. His presence brought warmth and laughter to family gatherings and left lasting memories for all who knew him.

Glenn found great joy in spending time with his loved ones and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. An avid fisherman, he often sought solace on the water-casting a line and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of nature.

His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many who were fortunate to share in his life. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire moments of togetherness and reflection.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Kirkland Church in Kirkland, Georgia.
