Ronalee Baker-Milne Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 11, 2017.
Ronalee Baker-Milne
July 24, 1967 – October 9, 2017

Ronalee Baker-Milne, a resident of Keewatin, Ontario passed away suddenly on Monday, October 9, 2017.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Kay and Dick Marshalok, Edith and Norman Milne, Elizabeth and Bill Baker, Edgar and Eileen LeBleu, aunt Caroline and uncle Stan Lozenski, aunt Rose and uncle Len 'Kroppy' Kropioski, aunt Heather Milne and many cousins.
She is survived by her husband Ian Milne, daughter Kaylee (Liam), her parents Ann and Ron Baker, her brothers Rick (Monica), Wayne (Colleen) and sister Lo-Anne, her mother and father in law Roberta and Norm Milne and sister in law Sandra. She will also be greatly missed by nieces and nephews Bryson, Jody (Dean), Laralee (Jayme), Lexi (Trevor), Jayme (Kailie) (Tia), Sheyanne (Jake), Shane (Carolyn) and Mandy (Jason).

Ronalee attended St. Louis School in Keewatin, graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas and completed her education at Confederation College. She was a member of the Kenora Figure Skating Club, Princess of the Kenora Winter Carnival and also a 25 year member of the Sacred Heart St. Louis Catholic Women's League.

A loving wife, Ronalee never turned down a chance to go fishing with Ian on the Winnipeg River and loved a good fish fry. She often put on family dinners, and enjoyed hosting family and friends often preparing a large selection of dishes but was most well known for her scrumptious banana bread. Her dogs, Shiloh and Maverick, were a big part of her life and she would take them anywhere she could. She could often be found cheering on her favorite hockey team: the Winnipeg Jets or sitting in the stands with family during a figure skating show. She enjoyed camping in Detroit Lakes and shopping at all of the local stores. One of her deepest passions was her career. She excelled as an education assistant, enjoyed working one on one at Keewatin Public School and would always refer to her students as her kids. She was a very proud mother and often spoke of Kaylee's achievements in both school and her recent entry into a career in law enforcement.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 84 Darlington Drive, Keewatin, Ontario on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Daren Gallivan officiating. A
luncheon will follow at St. Louis Parish Hall.

I am so sad to have read this. Ronalee was someone who I went to high school with. She was "that one" who was always smiling, "that one" who you could ask anything of, and "that one" who was the kindest person I have known. The true definition of "Big things come in small packages." She will be greatly missed. May you get a little strength from our thought and prayers.
