Roni Weisberg-Ross

June 30, 1952 - November 12, 2016 Roni Weisberg-Ross of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on November 12, after a brief, courageous battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. Roni was born in Queens, NY, on June 30, 1952. She was an alumna with honors of University of California at Los Angeles. Following a first career as a producer of dramatic films for television, Roni moved on to a distinguished vocation as a psychotherapist. After earning a master's degree in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University, Roni founded and directed the West L.A. Psychotherapy Group. She also mentored counselor interns at the Southern California Counseling Center. Roni was predeceased by her father, Louis Weisberg. She is survived by her mother, Gloria Weisberg; her devoted husband, Mark R. Ross; her loving daughter, Caroline Ross; and her sister, Allison Weisberg Scales. Roni's passing is also grieved by her extended family and her widespread circle of friends and colleagues both past and present.
