Age 20, of Garfield, unexpectedly on September 13, 2012. Survived by loving parents, Kathleen Spearman and Ronald McGinnis; and siblings, Faith Spearman, Carrie McGinnis, Paris Harris, Ronald McGinnis, Jr., and Destiny Spearman; caring grandparents, Carrie Curry, Ronald McGinnis, Sandy Darron; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Clarence Brookins, Angela and Tony Prentice, Mark and Karen Spearman, Frances Spearman, Robin Charlton (Mark), Stacey McGinnis, Jason McGinnis, and Alisha Darron; close family friend, Arlinda Moriarity and a host of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by William Curry, grandfather. Visitation Thursday, September 20, 11 a.m. Valley View Presbyterian Church, 601 N. Aiken Ave., Pittsburgh, 15206, where service will begin promptly at 1:30 p.m. Professional arrangements entrusted to SPRIGGS & WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 720 North Lang Ave., E.E.

I miss you a lot..never thought you of all people would go so fast,I'll never forget how you taught me how to fight and stand up for myself to my first bully in 1st grade and ever since then nobody messed with me so for that I'm still grateful to you for.
But I do believe one day my cousin we all will be reunited so until then keep spots warm and open for us in heaven and I'll see you when I get there.

My nephew pookie had some quality chracteristics that were certainly Godly and I wish I had been there for him in his time of need but God was there and knows all it. I can only rest in knowing that there is a true and living God and will take care of this devasting tragedy for all of us. Rest now in the Lord my sweet cousin I will always love you.

Mrs McGinnis, you don't know me, but my son met you by coincidence in Oakland last night and walked you home....he's the boy who you hugged tightly. He told me about you, and I just want to say how very sorry I am. I have been praying for you and your family, and I believe that your Ronnel reached out to hug you through my son. They're even the same age. I cannot imagine your pain, but the fact that he obtained the grace to reach out to you already must mean that he is truly with God and among angels. God be with you and your family. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
