Coldwater - RONNIE G. DUNN, 68, retired owner of Ronnie Dunn’s Contracting, Inc. for more than 22 years in Horn Lake, MS went to be with the Lord August 12, 2011 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was proud to have served his country. He was born April 24, 1943 in Memphis, TN to the late Montie G. Dunn and R. B . Dunn. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Dunn and his daughters, Ronna Moore and husband Allen Moore of Southaven, MS, Patti Wright and husband Larry Wright, Mandy Jones and husband Chris Jones, Niki Flanagan and husband David Flanagan, all of Hernando, MS; his grandchildren, Geri Lynn Moore, Kyle Moore, Rachel Wright, Jaxon Wright, Emma Kate Jones, Christopher Jones, Andrew Jones, Reid Flanagan and Mary Abbott Flanagan; one great-granddaughter, Sophie Katherine; sisters, Jean McDivitt and husband John McDivitt of Covington, TN, Judy Hughey of Collierville, TN, Elaine Straciko and husband Jerry of Hettick, IL and one brother Darrell Dunn and wife Darlene Dunn of Hernando, MS. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends who all loved him dearly. Ronnie and family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and VA Hospital of Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, August 15 at Hernando Funeral Home and the service will be held at 10 a.m Tuesday, August 16 at the funeral home. Ronna, Patti, Elaine, Darrell, Jean and Judy: Ronnie was an old Capleville buddy of me and my family. I still remember all of us kids piling in his dad's Model T Ford to go for "a spin" around Holmes, Malone and Getwell Rds. You couldn't find a nicer guy than Ronnie, who would do anything for a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I will miss him.

To Ronnie's daughters,sisters and brother. Ronnie was one of my dearest friends ever. We went from Capleville school to Oakhaven together. I'll always love him. For those that know me, you know that my Capleville friends are "Family" to me always. Over the years we lost contact for which I hated. But he's always been my Capleville brother to me. I watched as you fought with such strength and diginty , while still making sure to show how much you loved your family!
