Ronnie Kidwell Evans, 71, of Huntsville passed away Friday. Ronnie was a graduate of Butler High School. He grew up in the Huntsville Park area and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 23 years of service. He was an avid Auburn fan. Survivors include his daughter, Roma Gail Rodgers and husband, Randy, of Toney; sons, Ronnie John Evans of Hazel Green and Jason Luther Evans of Huntsville; grandchildren, Ryan Rodgers, Ashley Burnstein and husband, Danny and Alex Joyce; great-grandchild, Devin Burnstein; mother of his children, Sherry; and brother Tommy Evans of Huntsville. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with Tommy Rosenblum officiating. Burial will be in Golightly Springs Cemetery, Toney, AL. (www.laughlinservice.com)
