Ronnie James Kramer, affectionately known as Ron, passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 75 in El Paso, TX. Born on June 26, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a man of remarkable intellect and charisma, known for his outgoing nature and his ability to engage on any topic with wit and intelligence.

Ron graduated from Columbia University and proudly served in the United States Air Force, a testament to his dedication and love for his country. His professional life was largely spent with the Philips Corporation, where he contributed significantly while living abroad. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ron was deeply involved in the world of astronomy, serving as a past president of the Astronomical League. His passion for the stars was paralleled by his love for stamp collecting, another pursuit that captured his meticulous and ever-curious spirit.

Survived by his wife, Dena Vettor, stepson Christopher Morales, and stepdaughter Michaela Morales, Ron's legacy of love and laughter leaves a lasting imprint on his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Ray Kramer.

A memorial service for Ron will be announced at a later date, where friends, family, and acquaintances can come together to celebrate his remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ron can be made to local any dog and cat shelters and rescues, supporting causes close to his heart. Ron will be remembered not just for his achievements and hobbies but for the warmth and depth of his personality, making friends everywhere and leaving smiles in his wake.
