Charles Vennard Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 8 to Oct. 15, 2021.
ST. MARYS - Charles J. "Chuck" Vennard III, 18, died unexpectedly on Monday (Oct. 4, 2021) at his home.
He was born on March 3, 2003, in New York, a son of Charles Vennard II and Tonia Haun Lampe.
Despite growing up in foster care, Chuck always lit up the room and made everyone smile. He was a friend to all and would often pull over while driving or run out of a business to say hello to someone he knew and spend some time talking with them. He had a kind heart and will be remembered for his dedication to his football team and football family while in school. He often enjoyed watching the Steelers and pick-up football games with his friends. He enjoyed playing X-Box with his friends, and also was very patriotic, having great respect for all branches of the military.
He was a dedicated member of the Civil Air Patrol, achieving the rank of Cadet Senior Master Sergeant. He was given the honor of Cadet of the Month for two months in a row prior to the Covid pandemic. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Jenna Schatz of St. Marys; his best friend, Collin Hannah; two sisters, Patricia Haun and Elizabeth Vennard; and by a brother, Michael Haun-Patterson. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, paternal grandparents, a host of good friends too numerous to mention, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Charles J. Vennard III will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
