Ronnie Hugh Noe, 48, of Hernando, MS, Assistant Police Chief for the Walls, MS Police Department, passed away on March 21, 2015 after his battle with cancer. He also worked with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department, University of Memphis Police Department, Southaven Police Department, Northwest Mississippi Community College Police Department, and the Walls Police Department. Ronnie was "One of the Good Guys!" He always put others needs ahead of his own and was willing to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. I remember when you first come to Southaven and I was this little naive carhop at Sonic. That day I would've never thought that you would take it upon yourself to watch over me the next 20 years. Going through having babies, divorce, and when I got extremely sick almost 9 yrs ago, you stuck by me. When you would say, "I'm not sure that's such a good idea" you knew I would still do what I wanted but then would be there to help me pick up the pieces afterwards. I'm going to miss you so much! Thank you for your friendship, your compassion, most of all for allowing me to be part of your life. Praying for comfort and peace for the Noe family.

I worked for the City of Southaven Water Dept when Ronnie was an officer for the City. He was VERY protective of the women who worked here. We always knew if we called him about anything, he WOULD take care of it!!! We loved him and will miss his greatly!!

The sadness in our hearts over the loss of a true friend increases the love we have for everyone in our lives. Just a few weeks ago Ronnie was faced with an huge challenge that he bravely fought. We have no doubts that Ronnie is with our lord and savior waiting for the day we can all meet again. One of the last things he said to us while he was in the hospital is "It's been a good one". As long as we have known Ronnie, he has always maintained a life of integrity and service to others. We continue to pray for Tracy and the rest of the family during this time of sadness.

Dear Ronnie's Family, I'm very sorry for your loss of a man that I held the highest respect for. Ronnie and I went to the Police Academy together and worked as Officer's for Southaven Police Department. Ronnie always talked about his Wife and Children and the Love he shared with them. I will miss him and he will never be forgotten. Ronnie is with the Lord now and has started a new life that we all long for. One day we all will spend time again with him.
May God continue to watch over all of you.

Sincerely,
Scott Andrews

I have been at a loss of words since yesterday. I have shed tears and I know there more to come. Ronnie was one of my best friends. He was a Great Man with more best friends than one could count. My heart aches. I lost my father last July and Ronnie was there for me. He was there for me 24-7. He told me Perry if it is 3am and you need me you call me and I will meet you somewhere and we can talk.He was such a Great man and True Friend. When I told him about trying to take care of my mother the first thing he told me was what can I do to help you brother. That explains it all. He was my brother and I am going to miss him so much I cannot express into words how much I am going to miss him! God's Speed Ronnie! I loved you so Brother> My Thoughts and Prayers are with his Family. Ronnie I thank you with all my heart for being such a Great Friend! You will missed by so many!

Ronnie was the "good guy". He had a passion for faith, family and law enforcement. When you talked to him; he sincerely listened to you and his sense of humor was always enjoyable. Ronnie looked out for his family and friends before and will look over them now. Rest In Peace Ronnie!
