Dr. Ronny H.G. Go

Ronny was born on July 11, 1941 in Ruteng, Flores Indonesia to Alice and Dr. Yauw Liem Go. Always interested in medicine growing up, he attended and graduated medical school at Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia in 1967. It was at the medical school in Surabaya where he met his beloved wife Sylvie and where they were married in 1969. He did his Pediatric residency at the West Virginia University Medical Center in Charleston, WV. After his Pediatric residency, Ronny practiced Pediatrics in Charleston, WV from 1977 to 2007 after which he retired to San Diego. In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, ballroom dancing, and spending time with Sylvie while enjoying conversations with his friends, old and new. Ronny fought long and hard when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure and died peacefully with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Sylvie, sons Richard and Danny; his brother Raymond (wife Hiem, son Greg and daughter Patty); and his sister Gaby (husband Hao, sons Glenn and Ryo) and preceded in death by his sister Renee. Ronny will be greatly missed by his family and friends whom he loved and enjoyed so much. Your presence on June 10th will be a testimony to a life well lived that touched so many others.
