Stockton, CA
Oct. 2, 1957 - January 26, 2007
Rosa passed away quickly and peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday, January 26, 2007. A native of Michoacan, Mexico, Rosa attended St. George's Elementary School, San Joaquin Middle School and St. Mary's High School, before graduating from Franklin High School. She will mostly be remembered for her infinite faith in Our Lady of Guadalupe. Her sense of humor and inconceivable strength and will despite her extensive illness, which impacted her life for almost 30 years, are a tribute to her ceaseless trust in our Lady.
She is survived by her parents, Ruben and Carmen Coronado and her siblings, Jose Jesus Coronado (Betty), Elvira Coronado-Molina (Jose), Ruben Coronado, Jr. (Patricia Melendez), and Cecilia Coronado; her nieces and nephews, Joey Coronado, Roberto Andres Salas, Anel Coronado, Michaela Coronado, Alisia Coronado, Francisco Coronado, Karolina Anysia Molina, Nydia Coronado, Mateo Rios and Aliyah Rios; and her cousins, Armando Rios, Alex Rios and Edna De la Rosa. She was preceded in death by her brother Francisco Javier. There will be visitation for Rosa at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, located at 601 N. California St. on Tuesday, January 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., after which a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church, located at 731 S. Cardinal Ave. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward's on Wednesday, January 31, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosa's name to St. Edward's Building Fund, 731 S. Cardinal Ave., Stockton, CA 95215 or Tel. 209.466-3020.
