AGE: 72 • Perth Amboy
Rosa M. Correa (nee Nieves), 72 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side.
Rosa was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, and came to Rahway then to Perth Amboy for the last 60 years. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy for over 35 years. She retired in 2005.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents Concepcion and Isabel (nee Figueroa); dear sister of Maria, Hector Nieves, Cecilia Cruz and Dulce Maria Mendoza.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Santos E. Correa; beloved mother of Sylvia Acosta, Sonia Resto and Edwin Correa; adored grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 5.
We begin to leave on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 9;15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will be at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

My dearest friend you were not a friend you were my sister.. You lost the battle but gained the victory of being with the lord in heaven.
