Rosa Cremar Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 21, 2018.
Rosa Dalia Cremar, 83, of Bruni, Texas was called by the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She graced us with her presence on this earth and filled our lives with love and happiness for 83 short years.

She was born on April 26, 1935 to the late Amador and Diamantina Reyes of Hebbronville, Texas. She married her devoted husband, Eliseo Cremar, of Bruni, on December 25, 1954. Mrs. Cremar as everyone knew her will always be remembered for her love of teaching. She served as a dedicated employee of Bruni High School for over twenty-five years and touched the lives of students till her last day on earth. Dalia was an active member of the Bruni Sacred Heart Church and was involved in the church choir. She was a servant of the Lord, and her love and generosity was displayed throughout the numerous organizations that she supported throughout her life.

Dalia is preceded in death by her parents Amador and Diamantina Reyes, her brother Roberto Reyes, and sisters Grace Huerta, Aminta Saenz, and Yolanda Reyes.

She was a loving and devoted mother of five children, Letty (Juan Manuel) Vela of Pecan Gap, Cindy (Daniel) Salas of Bruni, Terry (Brian) Modoff of Austin, Sandy (Homer) Maldonado of Bruni, and Eliseo "Billy" (Nellie) Cremar of Hebbronville. Dalia was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was not only a faithful wife, nurturing mother, caring grandmother, and grammy, but also a devoted sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Amando (Nina) Reyes, sisters, Esmeralda Saenz and Sylvia (Ramon) Garza and extended family members and friends.

Dalia was the Matriarch of her family, the life of any room she was in, and the source of inspiration, love, and guidance for all those who were blessed to have met her. She was a great and loyal friend to many and enjoyed life to the fullest whether by spending time with her friends, attending community events, celebrations, and sporting events, to trying new restaurants and watching her novelas. She truly lived each day as if it were her last! She will be greatly missed, but Heaven gained an angel who is watching over all of us.

Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams with visitation starting at 5:00 p.m.-9:00p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 visitation starting at 8:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
