85, passed away December 25, 2023. She was born January 2, 1938 in Shelbyville, IN, to the late Thaddeus William and Leola Mae (Shaw) Harrell. Rosalie was a 1955 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She married Richard Elliott Fitzwater, and he preceded her in death November 18, 2004 after 36 years of marriage. Rosalie was employed with Western Electric, and then in the Trust Department for Chase Bank, retiring as a supervisor after 20 years of service.

Rosalie was a 60 plus-year member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church where she was active with the United Methodist Women's Group. She volunteered with Special Olympics and at Community East Hospital. Rosalie loved traveling, going out to lunch with friends, hosting family events, and playing Euchre with neighbors and her church family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street.

Rosalie is survived by her devoted daughters, Pam (John) Debelak, Susan Fitzwater and Traci Jones; her husband's children, Kathy Curtis, Rick (Beverly) Fitzwater, Michael (Lisa) Fitzwater, and Joanie (Sam Polki) Fitzwater; grandchildren, Tyler Debelak, Ethan (Kelsy) Debelak, Eli Debelak, Riley Debelak, Liz (Brent) Baltus, Allison (Wesley) Gunning, Paige (Ray) Petersen, Dawson Jones, Donovan Jones, Grace Jones, Chris (Jenny) Curtis, Jessica (Keith) Shelton, Brian Fitzwater, Amy Fitzwater, Amber (Travis Beaty) Macdonald, Jocelyn Macdonald, and Colton Fitzwater; great-grandchildren, Josie, Emma, Eva, Kiara, Ethan, Collin, Grant, Bailey, Ben, Alice, and Cora; sister, Marilyn Hampton and her sons Fred and Neal Freeman. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Fitzwater; and nephew, Rusty Freeman.
