Rose Ann Steinberg (Laspisa), aged 83, passed away on January 17, 2025, in North Fort Myers, FL. Born on December 24, 1941,

Rose Ann is celebrated for her unwavering strength and her vibrant personality. Described as fun, sweet, funny, and incredibly giving, she cherished life's moments with laughter and love, surrounded by friends and a large extended family.

Rose Ann graduated from South High School in Cleveland, OH, and dedicated herself to a career that reflected her strong work ethic, which she successfully imparted to her children. Outside of work, she relished in playing dominoes, social gatherings with friends and family, and was always ready to host, famously serving "Sauce on Bread" to anyone who visited.

She is survived by her children, MarshAVocado "Massa" (Steinberg) and Myron Steinberg; grandchildren, Alexandria and Ross Steinberg; sister Jo "Josie" Kordupel (Laspisa); brother Sam Laspisa; sister-in-law Pat Hurd; Nieces and nephews, LeeAnn "Leroy" Laspisa, Steve Kordupel (Melitza), and Michelle Kitchen (Darian); cousins, Rose Mary "Ro" Blessing (Tizzano), Anthony "Tozzi" Tizzano, and Peter "Petey" Tizzano (Jayne) and a large loving extended family.

Rose Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Marie Laspisa (Tizzano); brother-in-law, Myron Kordupel; uncle and aunt, Peter and Mary Tizzano (Brunello); cousin/comare Rose Marie "Ro" Salerno (Pallaci); and Morton Steinberg, her ex-husband and friend (No, not THAT kind of friend).

I miss you my Aunt! I think about you every day! I always want to call you or text you whatever is going on in my life. You are the only one allowed to call me Leroy. Except Marsha! She can now!

Rosie was absolutely "one of a kind". I met her in the early 1980´s, she was full of life, fun, caring and just one of those welcoming people. My deepest sympathies to all those close to her. May she rest in peace, pain free and watching over her loved ones.

It won't be the same without RoseAnn. But she will be remembered often and loved forever.

I remember meeting Rosie one night before going out with Marsha. She was exactly what I thought Marsha´s mom would be like. She was so full of life, and her "Oh, Marsha!" was her anthem. We always laughed over messing up the clothes when we´re shopping, especially at Target! Ro knows! I will miss her dearly. I always looked forward to seeing her every time I got to that side of Florida. you Rosie!

RoRo was always up to arts and crafts as her last project was painting stars. She will truly be missed and remembered always. ~ Mindy
