Rose Mae Fox

Rose Mae Fox was born June 11, 1925, in Brazil Mississippi, to Will and Katie Douglas. Rose was the youngest of three daughters, and she accepted Christ at an early age at Allen Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, under leadership of Pastor Rayford. Sister Fox received her education in Lambert Mississippi, where she met and married the love of her life Mr. Robert Fox Jr. To this union was born three girls and five boys.

Rose moved to Tucson, AZ in 1955, where she joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor F. J. Winbush. She later moved her membership to Trinity Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Perry Davis, until his passing. With unwavering determination and faith, she founded the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in 1989, and she remained a faithful member of that congregation until her health declined.

Rose is preceded in death by her devoted parents, Will and Kate Douglas; Loving husband, Robert Fox Jr., Sister, Leana Collins, Daughter, Willie Price and Son , Johnny Douglas.

Rose departed this life on January 24, 2016, she leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Josie (Clyde) Alexander and Ann (Joseph) Redmond; Sons, Douglas Hinton, Robert Fox, Will Fox, Jaime Fox and Sister, Patsy Walton.

She is furthered survived by over 100 grand and great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends.

We praise God for the wonderful years we had with our beautiful Rose and we know she is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord.
