The Langlands family (Campbell (dec), Betty, John, Wendy & Jennie
extend our love & deepest condolences to you all on the loss of Rose. We do remember such special people Rose & Bruce were, We have fond memories of out time as kids at Lewis road & the great friendship our parents shared. Rose was the sweetest lady. I can clearly remember her all those years ago.
I hear one of you were back down memory lane this week revisiting Lewis road. Our good friend now owns the farm!

Very special memories of dear Auntie Rose. Every time I see her handwriting in the front of the delightful Beatrix Potter books gifted to me in the early '50s (which I now share with our grandchildren) I feel a warm
appreciation for her kindness and the bond of friendship between our parents that was established when they were neighbours living in Matamata.Her thoughfulness, lady-likeness,smile and laugh will be remembered always.Loving sympathy to you all,Muireen

HOOPER, Rose Evelyn (Aunty Rose) (nee Kirkland) Born 18-09-1921. Passed away on 11-06-2015. In her 94th year peacefully at Selwyn Village. Treasured and much loved sister of the late Rae Scott and brother the late Ben Kirkland. Loved Aunty Rose to Diane and Ken Rackham and Lesley and Richard Gladwell. Great Aunt to Andy and Kiri, Olivia and Jonathan, Ben and Alice. You played a huge part in our lives and will be sadly missed. Finally at rest with your darling sister.
