Rose Marie Morris, age 84, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025.

Mrs. Morris was born Sep. 7, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas as Rose Marie Ann Strothman. She grew up in Wichita with her parents, Margaret M. Yoder and Don A. Yoder, and married Donald Ray Morris on November 11, 1959.

Rose Marie dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her generosity to helping others had no limits, as she volunteered throughout her life for numerous elderly services, hospitals, churches, schools, and other organizations. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arkansas City, Kansas and St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Nassau Bay, Texas.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Donald Ray Morris, and daughter Lisa Dawn Morris. She is survived by three children, daughter Michelle Marie Morris, sons Stanley Ray Morris and wife, Deborah, and Steven Randall Morris; grandchildren Rachael Marie Ebbing, Gillian Rose Hush, Jordan Ray Morris, Megan Grace Morris, Zachary Andrew Mann, Shaye Marie Brouse, Krystal Michelle Hatchell, Alisha Leigh Mayes, Chad Steven Mayes, Sawyer Hayden Doyle, and Abby Dawn Lampe; and great grandchildren Sophia Rose Ebbing, Collins Marie Ebbing, Dillon Lee Brouse, Britney Marie Brouse, Madden James Wall, Kayleigh Jo Wheaton, Kenleigh Drew Wheaton, Kye Steven Andrew Wheaton, Devon Anthony Wiley, Drey Alexander Mayes, Jayda Leigh Mayes, Keagen Joseph Mayes, Jaylyn Shay Mayes, Stella Mae Perez, Santiago Rigoberto Perez, and Mia Xochitl Rojas.

Arrangements: Crowder Funeral Home, Webster Texas. A memorial will be held at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
