Rose O'Brokta Obituary
Age 90, of Fawn Twp., unexpectedly, on Friday, May 23, 2008. Wife of the late Albert J. O'Brokta, Sr.; loving mother of Albert J. O'Brokta, Jr., of Fawn Twp., Ronald D. (Darlene) O'Brokta of Allegheny Twp., and the late John O'Brokta. Grandmother of Ashley Rose O'Brokta of Allegheny Twp. Predeceased by 4 brothers; John, Joseph, Frank and Andrew and one sister, Louise O'Brokta. Rose was a graduate of the former German Township High School, a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being outdoors, especially on the farm. Friends will be received Monday May 26, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tenth Ave. at Corbet St., Tarentum, PA, (724) 224-1526. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday May 27, 2008 in St. Ladislaus RC Church, Natrona, at 10 am. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazier Twp. Family suggests contributions be made to St. Joseph Parish, 1526 Union Ave., Natrona Heights, PA 15065.

Al,
I was saddened to notice in the electronic copy of the Post-Gazette the announcement that your Mother had passed away. At the time, I was in Chicago and am now in San Jose, California. So I was not able to personally express my sorrow at the passing of your Mother. My Mother died at age 62 so I've been without the person who loved me the most for lots of years. I think you were so lucky to have had your Mother for all these years.
May she rest in peace.
