Rose SINAL

SINAL _ Rose 1925 - 2002 Rose Sinal (nee Shewchuk) passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2002. Born in Mundare, AB and raised in Edmonton, Rose made Calgary her home since 1965. Baba loved cooking, entertaining and sharing her Ukrainian heritage. Many delicious meals were enjoyed around "Rosie's" kitchen table. Gardening, music, and collecting art were her other pastimes. Rose's greatest passion was her family, surrounding us with her love, support, wisdom, and giving us our zest for life. Thank you Mom, you will be forever in our hearts. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna and Ron Gendre, Cathy and Wally Kozak, Gordon and Faye Sinal, Mary Lou and Tom Banks, Michael and partner Theresa, and John and Jana Sinal; her eight grandchildren, Mark Gendre, Nicholas and Anna Kozak, Lee Sinal, Daniel, Adam and Michael Banks, Mila Sinal. She is also survived by her sister Elsie Golka, as well as extended family. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband of forty-seven years, Martin, in June 1998, and her two brothers, Joseph and Jerry. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 - 24 Avenue N.W.) on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
