Rose was one of a kind, a mother to me when I had no one. I´ll forever be grateful for her and her family. I´ll pay you a visit when you come back home to Galveston for your final journey, Mama Rose.

Our last good Christmas before you started getting worse mama. I find myself missing you most at the times I didn't think I would. It's not things like certain songs or books that really get me, it's when I want to share something with you that I know would have amused you or when I find myself having questions about plants and trees now that I have to worry about these kind of things.
I don't really have anyone else that cared about seeing or hearing about my rocks and sun/moon photos like you did, or what cool lil stream I may have found this time..or even anyone who asks to see my artwork or what I may have made recently like you did. It's not the same without you here. It's really not.
