Rose A. Vitagliano of Norwood on October 26, 2011. Wife of the late Ernest A. Vitagliano, devoted mother of Franco Vitagliano and his wife Gordana Vitaliano of Boston MA, loving mother of the late Ernest Vitagliano, Jr. and his surviving wife Diane and son Marc Vitagliano of Walpole MA, and great grandchildren Sara and Nicole. A warm, kind and generous to her surviving relatives and many dear friends, she was born in Cambridge MA, and attended Somerville High, Class of 1937. A stunning, intelligent, dynamic woman, she was very active in Italo-American society in Boston. She was the President of the Tomasello Club, a Boston social group known for its many charitable and social activities. Along with her late husband, Ernest, she also played an energetic role in supporting the important and generous work of The Home for Italian Children in Boston. Her memorial service was held on Saturday, October 29, at St. Catherine of Siena church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood MA 02062. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home Walpole.
