Rose Marie (Medas) Zeuch

November 9, 1951 - August 15,2025

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow to share that our beloved, Rose Zeuch, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in her Pasadena, Maryland home in the early morning hours of August 15, 2025.

Surrounded by the comforting presence of her devoted family and beloved pets, she departed peacefully after a courageous and arduous journey spanning over 25 years with Parkinson's disease. Her unwavering spirit and remarkable resilience throughout this prolonged challenge served as an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family. Rose is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Zeuch; her 92-year-old mother, Veronica Sharp; her 5 children Dawn Bopp and husband Tom, Robert Brown Jr. and wife Carin, Jaime Brown and wife Jennifer, Veronica Zeuch, and Michael (Zachary) Zeuch; her 7 beautiful grandchildren Courtney Bopp, Alexis Bopp, Tyler Brown, Colby Brown, Landon Brown, Juliana Brown, Corey Brown, and Jaxsen Brown; her brother Ricky Medas; and her loving pets Teddy, Summer, and Frankie.

Despite the physical challenges she faced, Rose was always filled with hope and determination to try her best to continue her daily activities around the house. She enjoyed gardening and decorating the house and absolutely adored her pets.

Rose found her calling to help people and worked tirelessly through nursing school while balancing a young family. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 12 years at Johns Hopkins and Anne Arundel Medical Center until Parkinson's disease did not allow her to work any longer.

Through the years, Rose tried every possible remedy from self-help, homeopathic, clinical studies, every new medication, DBS (deep brain stimulation) and everything in between, to help fight her battle with Parkinson's. These efforts were evidence of her faith, hope, and strength.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Chesapeake Hospice and her amazing home caregiver and sweet friend, Megan Fox. We find comfort knowing that Rose is at peace and no longer in pain. She will live on forever in our hearts! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association (support.apdaparkinson.org). A celebration of life in Rose's honor will be held at a later date. Details will be announced soon.
