Rosemarie Cecilia (DeGross) Midtvedt

December 8th, 1952 - August 31st, 2024

Our beautiful Rosemarie, age 71, was called to her heavenly home after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born December 8th, 1952 to parents Nicholas and Goldie DeGross of Lakeville, MN where she spent her childhood and graduated from Lakeville High School's Class of 1971. She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years David, father Nick, brother Tim and sister-in-law Rachel. She is survived by her mother Goldie, siblings Janine (Rich), Brenda (Robert), Tom, Barb (Bob), Dave (Libby) and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. In her early career she was an accomplished sales person for a variety of businesses. After relocating to the scenic Penn Valley California area, she and her husband David ran a successful construction company for 30+ years.

Rosie was active in all areas of her community including golf, gardening, baking, a dedicated volunteer with the PVFD auxiliary, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need, every day in every way. She was friendly, outgoing, compassionate, and caring. Her beautiful smile and "can-do" attitude will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A private family burial will take place in October where she will be laid to rest with her husband in Annandale, MN.
