Rosemary Brita

Rosemary N. (Alden) Brita, 85, died peacefully surrounded by her children at her residence on Natick following a brief illness on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born in Framingham on June 2, 1928 the daughter of the late Arthur Hutchinson Alden and Carolyn Gertrude (Heustis) Alden. She is survived by her loving and devoted children Anthony J. Brita of Natick and his fianc Melissa Jackson of Chicopee, Carolyn R. Brita and Gary S. Rousey both of Natick. Rosemary has been a resident of Natick for over 60 years and previously resided in Framingham. She was a graduate of Framingham High School and received her BS in Education from Framingham State College. For over 15 years she was a teacher at the Roosevelt Elementary School in Framingham before retiring. She was a loving mother to her children and will be greatly missed. Over the years she was a land lady and always looked out for the interests of others and taking them under her care at times of need. She enjoyed scenic trips and the opera as well as playing scrabble. She was devoted to her family and also loved her many dogs and cats over the years. Her family will receive family and friends at her residence in Natick on Thursday evening, January 30, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 169 Rice Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Interment will be held at a late date in the Alden family lot in Dell Park Cemetery at the convenience of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the John C.
