(Dalglish) "Rosie" Age 80, Of St. Paul Passed away peacefully February 3, 2014 after a 20 year struggle with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents John Ray and Clara Dalglish, loving husband William, and sister Jean Rafftery. Survived by children Jennie (Jim) McQuillan, Julie (John) Norris, Joseph (Kris) Dunford, Jill (Mark) Harris, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, in-laws Gordon Dunford, Elaine Tacke, Dan (Mary) Dunford, Thomas Rafftery, and beloved nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a member of the class of 1951 at St. Joe's Academy. She lived life with joy and humor. Her passion for music included 30+ years with the Nativity Choir and Funeral Schola. She enjoyed long walks, warm sunshine, Hershey Bars, white wine, fall visits to the north shore, a good book, and spending time with family. Her sense of humor and characteristic one-liners will be greatly missed! Family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Lighthouse of Mahtomedi and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care these past few years. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, February 7, 2014 at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH (324 S. Prior at Stanford Aves., St. Paul). Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at O'HALLORAN AND MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Avenue, St. Paul) 651-698-0796. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Nativity Scholarship Fund, Lighthouse of Mahtomedi, or St. Joe's Academy scholarship fund.

Rosie, I have so many memories of you. I have only known you and your family in the later years of your Alzheimer's, but you have put many smiles on my face. I funny one liners and visiting me in my office. I loved watching you dance on family night and you would always sing with me. You put sunshine in my heart and it will forever stay there. You will be missed and always remembered. My thoughts and prayers go to your family.
