Rosita Delgado

Rosita (Rosie) Delgado was born on May 29, 1978 at Harlem Hospital in New York City. She was raised by her mother Diana Chervoni and stepfather Charles Mooney. Rosie was a precocious child who loved to give big hugs to anyone and everyone. She grew into a beautiful and intelligent young woman graduating in 2000 from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Studies. Rosie worked for most of her life in finance and worked for various companies such as U.S. Trust, Bessemer Trust, Booz & Co., Coller Capital and Hellman & Friedman. Rosie had a BIG heart, vibrant personality, and boundless energy and enthusiasm. She loved to travel, meet people, and try new cuisines. Her travels included visits to Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, London, Paris and more. Rosie passed away on January 28, 2019 in her Manhattan apartment. Those who met her will never forget her. Rosie is survived by her sister Diana Delgado, her stepsister, stepbrothers, her two nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles and her dog Scout.
