Ross Grimes Obituary

Ross A. Grimes, 76, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born May 20, 1939 in Noble County, he was the son of John S. and Gladys (Tom) Grimes.
He graduated from North Webster High School with the Class of 1957. Following high school, Ross worked more than 38 years at Burger Dairy in New Paris and was a former member of the Moose in Goshen. He was a generous man who loved to give and help out others. He had been a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his daughters, Debbie (James) King, of Pierceton and Tina Eskritge, of Syracuse; brother, Steve (Sue) Grimes, of Florida; half-brother, Johnny Grimes, of Wisconsin; half-sister, Sheron Quesinberry, of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie Grimes; brother, Eugene Grimes; sister, Elouise Grimes; and an infant grandson, Joshua Mathew King.
In accordance with Ross' wishes, a memorial gathering will take place at a later date in New Paris. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to his family, I.C.O. Debbie King.
