I had the pleasure of meeting Rose a few years back.
I have never meet an individual with such fierce determination to try to beat the cancer that slowly stole her life.
She always had such a beautiful smile, that lite the room up!
We always talked of our grandchildren and their accomplishments.
During her illness , she took the time to make baby blankets for two of my newest grand babies .
An act of kindness I will never forgot.
May you rest in peace Rose. It was an honor to have meet you

Love and Condolences to Rose´s family! I am a 1969 graduate, WWSHS, and I was lucky to meet up with Rose after High School. She and I worked at Middlesex Hospital and we would often visit at a local restaurant & bar after work. I got to know Rose really well. What a talented craftswoman and storyteller she was. Eventually, we drifted apart and I moved to New Hampshire. I am so happy that she had a wonderful life and a loving family, and I am glad that she is no longer in pain. Rest in Peace, Rose

This is a photo of Rose that is in our Woodrow Wilson Senior High School year book, class of 1969. I remember Rose's smile, her soft spoken ways and her warmth. She and I were friends and I will always cherish her memory. We graduated together and she attended our 50th class reunion in October of 2019. Her courage and Grace were so profound that I was humbled. Christopher Andrews and she came together. I was so incredibly Happy that Chris nudged her to come. sometimes God puts people in your life that will influence and be a Blessing, and that's exactly who Rose was. Her legacy for her family and friends is and will be everlasting. Thank you Rose for being you and showing me what Grace and Dignity are.

I was one of the many people that called her "mom". I truly considered her my second mother. I was welcomed into her home and even at family events. My love of food, cooking, gardening, and canning came from her. Mom, you will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you and miss.
