ROWLAND BUZZA Obituary
Of Crafton Heights, formerly of Elliott, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014. Beloved husband of Christine (Angus) Buzza; loving father of Zachary and Troy Buzza; brother of Conrad (Rosemary-deceased) Bryan, Gilbert (Barbara) and Stephen Buzza; also many nieces and nephews. Rowland was retired from Matthews Bronze International with over 38 years of employment in final inspection and art design. He was also a veteran with the USAF Reserve. His passions included classic auto restoration, motorbikes, motorcycles, go-kart racing and for the past ten years building soap box racers with his brother Steve. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the SCHEPNER - McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton, 412-921-3661. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday in Guardian Angel Parish. Burial will be with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rowland's name to the Greater Pittsburgh Soap Box Derby, 334 Toura Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

Rowland made a difference and brought a lot of smiles to many faces. He will be remembered by me for his quick wit(the BBB&G) love of his work ,the soap box derby, the vettes, the motorcycles but most importantly his unending love of his family. We had so many chats and Chris, Zach and Troy were clearly what he loved most. Rest in peace ol buddy. Keith Jacobsen

Chris, Zachary, Troy, and family... we are saddened to hear of Babe's passing. We will always remember Babe as a loving, kind and caring man who had good words for all. We admired his artistic abilities and always enjoyed hearing about his numerous invention ideas. Our world has lost a very talented person and a truly gentle man.
