Roxanna Raquel "Roxie" Miller

Roxanna Raquel Miller, known to her loved ones as Roxie, passed away on January 23, 2024, in Trinity County, California at the age of 40. She was born on November 7, 1983, in Chico, California. Roxie was a beloved mother to her children Devlyn and Ember Pulling, and her family meant the world to her. She had a big heart filled with love and deep emotion, and she cherished her friends dearly. Roxie had a hearty laugh and a great sense of humor, always trying to find the good in life.

Roxie had a passion for gardening, cooking, and stargazing. She found solace in nature, particularly in the redwoods and the ocean. Animals held a special place in her heart, and she had a deep appreciation for music. Roxie was a soul who felt things deeply and wore her emotions for the world to see. She never held back from expressing how she felt and was always fighting to overcome her struggles.

In addition to her children, Roxie is survived by her father Tom Miller and his wife Charlotte, her mother Shelly Black, her brother Gabe Miller, her sister Leisha Pro, her brother Lorenz Fiorinza, her step siblings Jessica Feske, Melissa Wells, Matt and Zach Hutter, her aunt and uncle Sandy and John Nunn, her aunt and uncle Beckie and Jens Kullberg, and the father of her children Ken Pulling. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and extended family members. Roxie was preceded in death by her grandparents Tom and Juanita Miller, Ralph and Karen Black, and her uncles Jason Black, Mike Miller, Bob Miller, and Ralph Harrison.

Roxie's educational journey began at Durham Elementary and Durham Jr High School before she went on to attend Durham High School and Fairview High. After graduating from high school, she joined the Conservation Corp, a path that she loved. Throughout her life, Roxie was self-employed, but her favorite job was being a mother to her children.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Roxie, where family and close friends will come together to remember her. Details of the service will be announced soon.

Roxie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her love, laughter, and unapologetic authenticity.
