Yesterday
Cathy and family - Julie and I were so saddened to hear about Roy's passing. He was a wonderful colleague at USAirways through the years. Roy's dedication was evident in everything he did at work. He didn't hesitate to share his love and pride for his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I do so appreciate knowing Roy and Cathy Beiber as they were two of the first people here at the Harbor to befriend us. My husband, John, really enjoyed Roy´s company as they could talk sports (especially baseball)! He also loved it when Roy brought Anthony (just a little guy) over also talk about baseball. Roy was always so nice to be around and I especially loved him at Bingo nights!!! Our Siesta Harbor family has lost a great friend.

Butch was so much fun on our Game Day Get Togethers. John and I will miss him terribly. We were just 20 years old when we met Sis and Butch. The friendship just grew over the years. Our love goes out to Sis and his family. Rest in Peace Butch. There will never be anyone like you again.

Cathy,
We are happy to have had the opportunity to get to know Roy over the past few years. Although it is a sad time, there is relief in knowing that Roy is no longer suffering. We enjoyed working alongside you and Roy putting up Christmas lights and competing on the shuffleboard courts. You shared a special bond with each other that will hopefully bring you peace and comfort. May he rest in peace.

Margaret and I are so sorry to hear of Butch's passing. I have so many fond memories of Butch as we met in 1967 while in the service. We spent time together sailing the seas and visiting the Far East when we served together on the USS New Jersey in Viet Nam. We kept in touch in the years following our service together and did a couple of small trips together in the later years. I am going to miss my dear friend. Anchors Aweigh my friend. Until we sail together again.

Sis and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I have fond memories of your card games with my parents. Roy would always ask "where you going?" when my sister and I said we were going "out". Maybe Roy and dad can find a good card game in heaven.

Our sincere sympathy to all. Following all his achievements and recent decline has been hard, but admired his and Sis´s courage through it all. God Bless!
