I have fond memories of Roy Gene. In the 50's we worked together at my dad's service station on East Street. He was the most fun loving guy I ever knew. I will always remember his pretty 56 ford victoria that he kept spotless. Much sympathy for the Cornett family.

I will miss Uncle Roy Gene. The way he was always with the younger bunch. He was ready for the hugs that was passed around at family reunions or if we went to his house.
I know there was a welcome committee waiting on him.
Know that our hearts are with our family even thro we can't come. I love y'all.

Uncle Roy Jean,
I will miss you for sure! The talks we shared, the laughs, the dancing, me calling you to sing to you in Spanish, to making you EGG ROLLS AKA breakfast burritos. , to making sure you had the biggest T-bone steak in Texarkana.! I love you and even though my heart is heavy, I know you are now with your true love Polly and all your family walking and dancing on them streets made of gold with no more pain no more sorrow. Its a bitter sweet moment for us here on earth but one day we shall all be reunited again. We will miss that smile of yours. That charming ways you had with us all but mainly I will miss your wisdom and advice. Thank you for the memories and for accepting me as your niece, for always reassuring me I wasnt alone and always had a home and family, and especially for loving me. Rest In Peace cowboy.
Te quiero mucho tío Roy.
