Mr. and Mrs. Steeley were the first ones to help in my quest to renovate the Animal Welfare Society's Shelter. His love of animals was just another aspect of the tender part of him. It was a pleasure knowning him.

I had the most respect for Mr. Steeley and his family. He is truly an Icon to me:) I worked at Royal Vendors & AMS. Seeing him at AMS still coming to work everyday at his age just simply amazed me. The biggest privledge was being able to shake his hand because he still came out and seen his employees. I am saddened by the loss but he is in a much better place now. Prayers and condolences to the entire family.

Dear Gwen,
The loss of such an endearing gentle soul like Roy is felt by all of us who knew him. His love for you was evident in every encounter the three of us have had over the many years. It was my great pleasure to know him through you. He was truly one of the kindest men I have ever known. My family extends deepest and sincerest sympathies to you and his family.

Gwen: I was saddened to read about Roy's passing. In my many encounters with him in a doctor-patient relationship as well as on other occasions, he was always the ultimate gentleman, kind, generous, grateful, respectful with keen intellectual curiousity. My prayers are with you. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Jerry Bechamps, M.D.

Mr. Steeley was an icon. He will be missed.
His leadership and vision was instrumental in shaping the future of hundreds of people who worked for him directly and indirectly.
I had the privilege of working for him directly when he was President of Dixie-Narco. He taught me many valuable business skills that I still use today.
My sincere condolescences to the family.
