I worked for Rusty when he was VP or Ops at Levolor. I was the plant manager in Houston from 87 - 91. Even back then Rusty had advanced manufacturing methods ideas including LEAN / JIT. For some reason I was called to search for Rusty today and found this obituary. God bless his soul and his family

I appreciated Royce's insight into most any subject that came up in our Wednesday morning coffee gatherings. He always contributed keen insight and often scriptural backing for his position. I was impressed with his Bible knowledge and the fact that he could quote chapter and verse on the fly. He is one of my most "unforgettable people."

Royce was a wonderful leader and contributor to our Wednesday coffee meetings. Royce's knowledge of the Bible and specifically the Old Testament was outstanding. I personally loved to hear him talk and describe his life experiences and provide detailed Bible verses related to our discussions. Royce was a pleasure to be with and he will be missed.

In 2001, Dad and I visited Israel, a trip we had planned several months before 9/11. After 9/11, we were determined to go ahead as our faith and fate were, and still is in the hands of God.
It was an awesome experience that I will cherish forever. For me, the highlight of that wonderful trip was to have my great, dear father baptize me in the Jordon River (2001, not 2021 as previously state.).
I miss you, Dad.

My favorite memory of Dad was our trip to Israel in Nov, 2021, where he baptized me in the Jordan River.
