The most selfless, generous, kindhearted woman I've been blessed to know, share my life with, and watch me grow! Today marks a year without your physical presence here. Yet, subconsciously you seem so near. How I miss our talks about life, work and even the future. My how auspicious I feel to have had such a great teacher! While memories are what remain now, I am so grateful that I can jog mine anytime to recall the time shared. You are truly a gem that will never be forgotten nor compared!
Love,

On this day last year your name was called and you answered. I miss our talks, I miss you talking back to the TV, I miss your giving spirit and asking for nothing in return, I miss your mac-n-cheese, okra soup and collard greens. Life hasn't been the same since you left, but it has made me stronger. I thank God for you being my sister. Love and miss you like crazy.

You would be enjoying this election and watching CNN and CSpan 24 hours a day. I know you and Gwen are up there talking about so much stuff together. I miss you so much. I cannot believe we have been without you for a year. Love you

It's been a difficult year since you left us. I've missed your excitement, enthusiasm, and commentaries of everything associated with the recent elections. No doubt, you would have gotten it right given your detailed analysis. You're always on my mind and will forever remain in my heart.
Your baby sister,
Juliette
