My husband and I met Ruby and her sister Brenda when they came to Waterloo to buy a coke machine for her husband. Although I only met Ruby twice, I was immediately struck by her personality. Just talking to her for a few minutes made me feel better, as if we were old friends. There was a light and a peace that surrounded her; I've never met anyone like her. She was obviously a very special person, and I am so sorry for her family to lose this unique loving soul. My prayers are with you. May her light and love continue to embrace you.

"The best part is inside"...was on a T-shirt Ruby was photographed wearing in our 1977 Yearbook. This described Ruby to a "T"! Her Smile, Laughter, and Personality was something anyone who met her will never forget. Her friendship was something to be treasured, but I Agree...The Best Part was Inside!
