Dear Robyn and Roy,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I have great memories of both your Mom and Dad. They were really "cool" parents and I know they loved you all so much. Robyn- I remember how happy and proud they were of you when they visited you in Hawaii many, many years ago. My prayers are with you and your family. Robyn- I'm also sorry we lost touch. I would love to hear from you. God Bless, Ivy

Dear Robyn and Roy,
We are losing a generation--our parents. I always remember how I was struck by your Mom's beauty--it amazed me. She was the "hip" Mom!! I'm sorry for your loss.

Robyn and Roy,
I don't know if either of you remember me, your cousin Gay Webb - I spent a week with you when you were both only around 8 and 9 years old but have not seen you since. I did visit with your parents at Tom & Betty's house some years back.
My mother was you mother's Aunt Ruby. Your grandmother, that I called Aunt Edna, was my mother's favorite sister.
I am so sorry you've lost both your parents. I was only 30 when I had lost both of mine (my mother to breast cancer) - and it doesn't matter how old you are - it is a devastating loss and my heart is with you and your families.
Your mother wrote me a beautiful letter and sent me pictures of my parents when she found out she had breast cancer and she urged me to take care of myself. It was such a loving gesture and I'll treasure her letter always.
Both your parents were wonderful, fun people. I remember going to the midget car races with you all. My ears rang for a week.
I am sorry I couldn't be there today with you.
I hope you'll contact me. I would like to send you a picture my father took of your parents when they were such a beautiful, young couple. They were most certainly soul mates.
My e-mail address is included (I live in San Diego).
God Bless you and comfort you today and always,
Gay Linda Webb Shaffer
