Ruby Lyon

She is always with us in our hearts.

A sweet lady that will always be remembered.

Losing a loved one is always so hard and the sadness and loss are there but get a little easier as time passes. However, we never forget these loved ones as we carry them, as we carry Ruby, in our hearts. Ruby is missed by everyone that she touched while on this earth.

I want to say on behalf of all of 5HVI @ Memorial Hermann, that we are truly saddened by the passing of Mrs. Lyon, and offer our deepest sympathy to her family. She was truly a patient like no other. Her love for the Lord was evident, and I take joy in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father. Mr. Lyon, I am grateful to have met the two of you. My "Notebook" couple! I will continue to lift you and the family up in prayer! Love you dearly!

We will miss you dearly Ms Ruby. Just look down from heaven sometime and you will see Billy and Mr Jim outside talking. We will always keep an eye on him next door. In our book no better neighbors than Jim & Ruby. Love Billy & Debbie Owens

Mom and I send our deepest sympathies and condolence to Mrs. Lyon's family. Miss Ruby was such a wonderful lady! When I think of Miss Ruby, I think of Christmas. She always had a cheese roll that Bruce and I loved, and some pecan rolls that we all loved, but Dad especially! When I got married, Miss Ruby gave me a cookbook of some of her favorite recipes. Miss Ruby was always such a joy to be around, and I loved here dearly! Mom loved her dearly, and we are deeply saddened by this loss. Many prayers for you, her family, from both me and my mom. I have many fond memories of summer visits spent with Miss Ruby. She was one of a kind and no one makes better pickles. God truly has a new angel!
