She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 65years Kenneth Matthews; sons Joel Keith Matthews and Richard Vance Matthews (Vandy); grandchildren Vance Richard( Stacy) Matthews and Elizabeth Mae Matthews; sister Bernice Ann Pitts and a brother Steve Moss.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 23, 2017 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00am at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Momeyer Baptist Church 4967 Momeyer Way Nashville, NC 27856 or to Hospice of Nash 2460 Curtis Ellis Dr Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
