Ruby Petty

PETTY _ Ruby Alice 1919 - 2005 Ruby Alice Petty of Calgary passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Ruby is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Rose Lynn; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Barrie Cameron, all of Calgary; and grandchildren, Lisa, David, Janine, and Tyson. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Murray and Marie Alves, Royce and Blanche Alves, all of Parry Sound, ON and Doug and Jan Alves of Ingersoll, ON; and her sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Art Derosier of Onaping, ON. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1950; and a sister Minnie Steggs in 1996. Throughout her life Ruby was very active in her community and church. Along her way she collected many special friends, including Jim Armstrong, Carol and Ken Wildgoose, Bill and Judy McKnight, Sally and Michael Salonka and their families. Funeral Services will be held at Centennial Presbyterian Church (103 Pinetown Place N.E.) today, June 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Linda Ewing, Presider.
